01 — The Practice

Precision restorative work, grounded in dignity.

Restorative Cosmetics is the paramedical practice of Bethani Broussard, a Softap-trained artist working in restorative pigmentation since 2011.

After time devoted to education and training, she is returning to client work with a refined eye for color, anatomy, and natural-looking results.

The work is precise, clinical, and quietly transformative: scar camouflage, stretch mark camouflage, areola restoration, vitiligo camouflage, and scalp micropigmentation.

"Restoration is not about hiding what happened. It's about giving skin its dignity back — with the same care a master restorer gives a work of art."

Every client arrives having lived with something they were told was permanent. Every session is built on the belief that it does not have to stay that way — and that the process of restoring it can itself be a form of art.

Restorative Disciplines

Each discipline is built on precision, color mastery, and a clinical understanding of skin — performed with the unhurried care that genuine restoration demands.

I.
Scar Camouflage
Precision pigment work that softens and blends surgical, traumatic, and self-harm scarring into the surrounding skin tone.
II.
Stretch Mark Camouflage
Restorative pigmentation that reduces the visibility of striae, returning skin to a more even, confident canvas.
III.
Areola Restoration
3D areola-complex pigmentation for post-mastectomy and reconstructive clients, restored with anatomical artistry.
IV.
Vitiligo Camouflage
Careful color-matching that restores visual uniformity to depigmented skin with a natural, undetectable finish.
V.
Scalp Micropigmentation
Hairline and density illusion through meticulous follicle-simulation pigmentation for thinning or scarred scalps.
VI.
Practitioner Training
Technique, standards, and practical guidance for artists developing restorative cosmetic services.
The Restoration Gift

One story. One complimentary restoration each month.

Scars carry stories—of surgery, injury, survival, change, and healing. Each month, Restorative Cosmetics will choose one person to receive pro bono restorative work.

If you would like to be considered, write to Bethani and share what your scar means to you, how it affects your life, and what receiving restorative care would make possible.

We are beginning with one recipient per month. As the practice grows, our hope is to offer this opportunity more often.

How to be considered

  • Tell us your scar story in your own words.
  • Include the scar’s general location and how long it has been healed.
  • Select “Monthly Pro Bono Restoration” on the consultation form.
  • A private consultation is required before treatment.
Share Your Story

Stories remain private unless separate written permission is given. Selection does not guarantee medical or technical eligibility. No purchase is required.

The Artist

The craft, returned to its source.

Bethani Broussard is a Softap-trained paramedical cosmetic artist who has practiced restorative pigmentation since 2011 and has experience training other technicians.

After a decade devoted to education, she is returning to the chair — bringing with her a clinical eye, a refined color sensibility, and a philosophy rooted in the belief that restoration is among the most meaningful acts in the craft.
